The activation code is used for 3rd party mobile apps to connect to a patient's Active Script List (ASL). This activation code can be generated in Z Dispense for patients that have been registered for ASL and have an IHI number against their profile.

To generate an activation code:

1. Go to Z Dispense and search for the patient
2. Next to the Patient field, select the icon to update the patient, or alternatively press the keyboard shortcut F8
3. Under the MyHR details, select the Activation Code button to generate the code:
