There is now the option to disable and enable ePrescriptions in the eScript Viewer. This has been introduced as part of the latest Australia Digital Health Agency (ADHA)'s Electronic Prescription Conformance requirements.
Disabling an electronic script will prevent the patient from being able to get that medication dispensed.
The disable and enable options are particularly used for paperless eNRMC scripts to help "disable" any medications a patient may have ceased during the chart duration etc.
However it can also be used for ePrescriptions if you need to disable a medication for the safety of the patient if you need to check any concerns with the doctor.
Disabling an ePrescription
To disable an ePrescription:
- Scan the barcode
