The Dispense Trading Totals Report can be added as a Scheduled Task within Z Office. This will allow the report to be emailed or saved locally on a scheduled basis.
To create the scheduled task:
- Go to Z Office > Tools > Scheduled Tasks > Create New
- The Add Scheduled Task window will appear. In the Type dropdown, select Dispense - Trading Totals Report:
- Once selected, you can customise the task options:
Description: Enter a task description if needed and ensure that Task Enabled is ticked.
B. Start & End Time:
- Start Time is the date and time that the scheduled report will begin.
- End Time is the date and time you would like the task to stop running. i.e. If you only want to receive the scheduled report for a particular period. Otherwise, leave this blank if you’d like the task to run indefinitely.
C. Frequency: This is the frequency of when you want the scheduled report to occur.
D. Recur Every: This is how often you'll want to run the scheduled report.
E. Delay up to: This is the time to delay, to retry the task if the task fails the first time. You may leave this blank if you're not sure what to input.F. Start and End: This is the timeframe you would like the report to generate for. e.g. Select Start of Month and End of Month to report on the trading totals per month.
G. Facilities: You have the option to only generate the report for a specific facility or choose to omit all facilities in the report by ticking Exclude Facilities.
H. Cost option: Select which cost parameter the report will use.I. Email Addresses: Input the email addresses you wish to email the report to. Separate each email address with a space. e.g. test@test.com test2@test.com
J. Paths to save the report: You can choose to also save the scheduled report to a location on your computer or over the network. - Press to save the task.
- To test the task to confirm it works, highlight the newly created task and press Run from the left panel:
- Let the task run for around 10-20mins. To check that the task as run successfully, go to Z Office > Tools > Scheduled Tasks > Scheduled Task Events:
- Clear the filter in the left hand panel and click Apply or Search to view the most recent scheduled tasks:
You may repeat this as many times needed if the status still says 'Queued'.
