When adding scripts to the StoreQ, you notice a Z API Offline message:
When you try and scan scripts, a No Z Api connection error will also appear:
You cannot search for patients or scan in electronic prescriptions as ZAPI is currently offline. Please check the service is running on your server.
This generally indicates that your Z API service has stopped running. This can affect StoreQ functionality and your access to Active Script List.
To check and restart the Z API service:
- Go to your server computer. If you have trouble finding your server computer, please refer to our guide How to Find My Server Computer?
- Press the Windows button on the bottom left and search for Services or Services.msc:
- Open Services and find the Z API service:
- Highlight the service and press Start on the left panel to start the service again:
- After it has started, the Status will change to Running:
- You can restart your Z Dispense to refresh the change.
If the Z API Service fails to restart or if the Z API Offline message still displays after being restarted, please contact Z Support for further assistance
