Important New Changes!
From 1 January 2025, the PBS Co-payment Discount of up to $1.00 began to be phased out and the allowable discount was reduced to:
- General: Up to $0.10 allowable discount
- Concessional: Up to $0.80 allowable discount
From 1 January 2026, the allowable discount was further reduced to:
- General: $0.00
- Concessional: Up to $0.60 allowable discount
Z Dispense gives you the ability to set the PBS Co-Payment Discount for individual patients.
- In Z Dispense, search for the patient.
- Click on the pencil icon or use the keyboard shortcut F8 to open the Update Patient Details window.
- Go to the Other tab
- Fill the PBS Discount (Default) amount to the desired value
- Save the patient to update the patient
