Set Customer for Stock Transfers
Before you can perform a stock transfer to a customer, you must ensure that the customer profile contains an account that is marked for transfers.
To mark a customer account for stock transfers:
- Go to Z Office > Customers > Manage Customers
- Search for the customer that you'd wish to transfer the stock to and double-click to open Customer Details window.
- Go to the Accounts tab:
- Ensure that the customer has an existing account under Accounts that you can transfer stock to. If not press to add an account for the customer:
- To enable stock to transfer to this account, tick Can transfer stock to this customer under Stock Transfers:
- Press to save the changes.
Create a Stock Transfer
To create a stock transfer:
- Go to Z Office > Stock > Add New Stock Transfer
- The Add Stock Transfer window will appear:
A. Transfer To: Select the customer that you wish to transfer to.
B. Default Cost: Choose the cost parameter that the stock will use. The options are:
- Last Invoice Cost
- Average Cost
- Cost
- WS1 Price
C. Default GST: Choose whether GST will be applied to the stock in the stock transfer.
D. Default Markup: Input a markup value for the stock in the stock transfer if needed. If not, please leave this blank. - Press to find and select stock that you wish to transfer.
- Once you have added all the relevant stock, press to complete the stocktake.
- The Stock Transfer Invoice window should appear:
- If needed, press to print or to export the the stock transfer invoice.
View Existing Stock Transfers
To view or edit existing Stock Transfers:
- Go to Z Office > Stock > Manage Stock Transfers
- The Manage Stock Transfers section will appear:
A. Search - Search for a stock transfer. Alternatively, you can press to bring up all stock transfers. Search for a stock transfer or press search_button.png to bring up all stock transfers.
B. Stock Transfer Options - Highlight stock transfers and select these options to:
- Edit Stock Transfer Details: View and Edit the stock transfer
- Un-Mark as Transferred: Unmark a stock transfer as completed
- Mark as Transferred: Mark a stock transfer as completed
- Cancel Transfer: Cancel a stock transfer
- Delete Transfer: Delete a stock transfer
- Print Current Transfer List: Print a list of the current stock transfers

Hi Z - the Search function within the Stock Transfer page does not actually allow a search to be performed. Can this please be added
