Sales Screen

Discount Button

1. Log in to Z Register
2. Scan or select the products into the sale
3. Once all the items have been added into the sale, highlight on the item you wish to discount then press  or  for either the percentage or dollar discount amount. Alternatively, press 'ALT + P' or 'ALT + D' key on the keyboard.
   
   
4. The Discount Amount window should appear:
   
     
   
   Enter in the discount amount and press OK
   
   
5. The item should be updated in the sales screen to indicate that it has been discounted:
   
   
   
   
6. Finish the sale with the desired payment method

Manual Discount

1. Log in to Z Register
2. Scan or select the products into the sale
3. Once all the items have been added into the sale, highlight on the item you wish to discount and click into the Disc % or Disc $ and enter the discount amount
   
   
   
   
4. The item should be updated in the sales screen to indicate that it has been discounted:
   
   
   
   
5. Finish the sale with the desired payment method

Payment Screen

Applying the discount on the payment screen allows staff to apply the discount onto the entire sale rather than just particular items.

1. Log in to Z Register
2. Scan or select the products into the sale
3. Once all the items have been added into the sale, press  or the ' + ' key on the keyboard to bring up the payment window
4. Press on the Discount button
   
    or  for either the percentage or dollar discount amount. Alternatively, press 'ALT + P' or 'ALT + D' key on the keyboard.
   
   
5. The Discount Amount window should appear:
   
     
   
   Enter in the discount amount and press OK
   
   
6. The discount amount will appear on the payment details:
   
   
   
   
7. Finish the sale with the desired payment method
