Stock reports can show stock details and movement, filtered by stock group, department, supplier etc.
To create a stock report from scratch:
- Go to Z Office > Reports > Create New
- Select Stock Report for the Report Type
- In the Report Design tab, add filters and columns to your report
- In the Report Parameters tab, add a start and end date for your report. The stock report will only show you stock information between the start and end date.
- Press Generate to run the report
- Save the report template with a name for future use
Alternatively, you can select from one of the many system report templates:
- Go to Z Office > Reports > Manage Reports
- Press Search to bring up all the saved report templates
- Scroll through the list of reports (they will be grouped by report type)
- Double-click the report you want to run
- Edit the report parameters or design if needed
- Press Generate to run the report
Commonly used stock reports
Department Stock Value - shows the stock value of each department based on the end date selected.
Least Profitable Stock - shows in order of least profitable stock line based on Sales GP$, excluding stock lines that haven't been sold within the selected period.
Most Profitable Stock - shows in order of most profitable stock line based on Sales GP$, excluding stock lines that haven't been sold within the selected period.
Negative Stock On Hand - shows Stock lines listed in alphabetical order that currently have a negative stock on hand value.
Stock Not Sold - shows the Stock not sold within the selected period for all items where the Stock on Hand is not equal to zero (also known as Dead Stock).
Stock Purchased Monthly - shows the purchases of stock lines in the selected period by month listed in alphabetical order.
Stock Usage Monthly - shows the usage of stock lines in the selected period by month listed in alphabetical order.
Stock Value - shows the current stock value of each stock line based on the end date selected (also known as stock on hand report).
Promotional Sales/Summary - shows promo sales made in the selected period.
Commonly used filters
Active stock only - change the Stock Status option to 'Active Stock'.
Particular department(s) only - change the Departments filter to desired department(s) and the report will only show stock within those departments.
The example above will show all active stock in the Baby department.
Only show products in-stock - add a Range Filter where SOH > 0.
