The Quick Order function allows you to quickly add items to new or existing orders directly from Z Dispense.

The Quick Order function is also tied with Staff Permissions (Orders > Add orders). If the
staff member does not have this permission enabled, it will not appear.

To Quick Order an item:

In Z Dispense, you can bring up the Quick Order window by using any of the following options:
a. Go to Z Dispense > Tools > Quick order
b. Press CTRL + K on the keyboard
c. Select Quick Order in the middle panel (while dispensing) -
You will have the option to select view details for your quick order:
A. Drug
This will display the drug selected for Quick Order. By default, it will automatically pre-fill this with the drug that is currently being dispensed. You may also override this and select an alternative drug.
B. Quantity
This will display the number of units that will be placed on order.
C. Supplier
You can select the supplier you wish to order from. The default supplier will be selected for the stock card.
D. WS1 Cost
This will display the wholesale list cost for the item. The value displayed will be dependent on the supplier you have selected.
E. Qty on Order
This will display the total number of units sitting in existing in all open orders.
F. Orders
Displays the list of open orders containing the item. The orders displayed are those created within in the last month. To add the item to an existing order, double-click on the order you would like to add it to.
G. Create
Click this button to create a new order for your item. You can also use CTRL + C on your keyboard.
H. Close
To close the quick order pad without placing an order. You can also use ESC on your keyboard. - To add the item to an existing order, double-click on the order or use your keyboard arrows and press Enter. Otherwise, press Create (or using ALT + C on the keyboard) to add the item to a new order.
Orders will still need to be finalised in Z Office.
