Script History displays the patient’s previous dispensing records. For records related to the item currently being checked, visual indicators help you identify exact matches and see where information differs.
You’ll learn how to:
- Identify an exact match record
- Recognise records containing differences
- Identify the specific information that differs
- Use the colour legend
Exact match records
Records highlighted with a green row are an exact match for the item currently being checked. The most recent matching record is also used to display the Last Dispensed information in Script Check and the Last Dispensed Price in Price Check.
Records with differences
When a related Script History record contains different information, colour indicators are used to show the type of difference.
Refer to the colour legend at the bottom of Patient Check to understand what each colour represents, including differences in:
- Brand
- Price
- Strength
- Form
- Quantity
- Doctor
Identify the information that is different
Within a record containing a difference, the specific value that differs is highlighted in yellow.
For example, when the quantity differs:
- The record uses the Different Quantity colour shown in the legend.
- The quantity value within that record is highlighted in yellow.
This allows you to see both the type of difference and the specific information that differs.
How the indicators work together
| Visual cue | What it indicates |
|---|---|
| Entire row highlighted green | The record is an exact match for the item currently being checked |
| Difference colour shown against a record | The type of difference, as defined in the colour legend |
| Individual value highlighted yellow | The specific information within the record that differs |
