Configuring Dispensary Labels Alignment
Generally you shouldn't need to touch these settings as we can configure these for you. This guide will cover the basics for those who want to give it a try.
As this is a workstation setting, if you wish to change the labels on any other dispensing terminals, you will need to do it for each terminal.
Changing your Label Design
This can be done in Z Office.
General Labels
This section will cover your main dispensary labels, address labels, multiple label and additional direction labels configuration.
Go to Z Dispense > Workstation > Printing
We'll be focusing on the top section:
a. Select the printer for the labels to print to.
b. Script Label - The label type of your labels. We have the Fred, Lots, Amfac, Aquarius labels as system defaults. To check the label design/modify the label design, this can be done in Z Office.
c. & e. Hor Offset and Ver Offset - This is to adjust the alignment of the labels.
Hor Offset - This moves the label left and right.
Increase the number to move the label to the right. Decrease the number to move the label left.
The system uses mm increments to adjust the labels and accepts negative values.
e.g.
Changing the value from 0 to 1 will move the label 1mm to the right.
Changing the value from 0 to -1 will move the label 1mm to the left.
Ver Offset - This moves the label top and down.
Increase the number to move the label down. Decrease the number to move the label up.
The system uses mm increments to adjust the labels and accepts negative values.
e.g.
Changing the value from 0 to 1 will move the label 1mm down.
Changing the value from 0 to -1 will move the label 1mm up.
d. Other Type - This corresponds to address labels and any custom labels that you may print. Normally, if you are using 'FRED' type labels, you should select 'FRED', 'LOTS' type labels, you should select 'LOTS' etc.
f. Multiple Pack - If this option is enabled, Z Dispense will print multiple labels for items that require multiple labels e.g. Ventolin Qty 2, Panadol Osteo Qty 2 etc.
You can configure the Multiple label options below:
g. Additional Direction - If this option is enabled, Z Dispense will use the label type for the additional labels when the label directions are too long.
This is a good option to set to a different label design so that the label name, price etc doesn't appear to pharmacists can stick the label directly under the first.
e.g.
Alternate Labels
