Z Office gives you the ability to you to mark non-system reports as preferred reports to minimise clutter. You will also have the ability to import and export the report templates to other stores.
Marking a report as a Preferred Report
To mark a non-system report as a preferred report:
- Go to Z Office > Reports > Manage Reports
- Select a non-system report
- On the left panel, select 'Mark as Preferred'
The preferred reports will have a to indicate that it is a preferred report.
Importing and Exporting Preferred Reports
To import or export preferred reports:
- Go to Z Office > Reports > Preferred Reports
- On the left panel you can select export or import reports:
Export Reports – Highlight the reports you want to export, press Export Reports and save the file to your desired location. The file is a .csv file
Import Reports - Press Import Reports and select the file you exported from Z Office. This can be used to copy a report template from one store to another.
Note
- You are only able to mark non-system reports as preferred reports
- When exporting and importing, the system will not take into consideration entities (e.g. departments, agencies etc.) that are store dependent. i.e. if Store A has Department A in the Report Design, Z will not create/update the department in Store B when the report is imported
