If a customer sends a payment via direct debit, you can process the sale in Z Register by creating a new payment method.
To create a new payment method
- Go to Z Office > POS > Add New Payment Method
- Add a Payment Name and Payment Code e.g. Direct Debit and DD
- Press Save

To add a Direct Debit button to Z Register
- Go to Z Office > POS > Manage Register Layouts
- Press Search to bring up all your register layouts
- Double-click the layout you're using (it is most likely the one without the blue cog symbol) to edit it
- Click the Payment Menu tab
- Click and drag the 'Pay Using' function into a free spot in the layout. If you don't have a free spot, click on a function you don't use and press Remove Function
- Select your direct debit payment method
- Press Save
- Restart Z Register on all your terminals and the new payment method will appear
