In the Barney Layout

1. Patient Field - Enter patient name to prompt a patient selection window. Type Last Name First Name to bring up a patient.
2. Supply Type - Enter a suitable supply type for the patient; dependent on the prescriber, status of the patient and the medication being supplied
3. Script Date – Enter the prescribed date of the script from a prescribing professional
4. Doctor – Details of the health care professional who is issuing the prescription
5. Drug - Enter drug/molecule name to prompt a drug selection window with the option of Generic substitution
6. Directions - Prescribing directions based on the prescription under the guidance of the prescribing professional
7. Repeats - Enter the number of repeats. This will normally be preselected
8. Quantity - Enter the PBS quantity of the drug selected. This will normally be preselected
9. Price - Price of the medication selected based on set markups or special pricing options
10. Pharmacist Initials - Initials of the pharmacist dispensing the medication

In the Rapidfire Layout

When in the Type field, the Script Types will be listed at the bottom of the Dispense screen.

• P - Private
• D - Dental
• E - Optometrical
• U - Nurse
• F - Midwife
• R - Repat
• B - Emergency Bag
• C - Continued Dispensing
• S - Non-PBS
• T- S3R
• X - Non-Prescription
• Add O for owing (e.g. NO)
• Add A for authority (e.g. NA)

Rapidfire Layout

In the Supply Type, select the script from the drop down menu.
