For more information regarding Electronic National Residential Medications, please refer here.
You may now dispense Schedule 8 (S8) medications presented to the pharmacy on an transitional Electronic National Residential Medication Chart without the need of a paper chart or separate prescription. These scripts will be claimed as Patient Category N as per PBS' changes to accommodate for this.
In order to dispense Authority S8 medications on the Electronic National Residential Medication Chart, you will need a special authority number - APN to enter in the authority field. This number is issued by you Packing Software Provider (e.g. Webstercare/Medi-Map/BPPCare etc.). You will need to get in contact with them if you require this.
