Setting up your Email using SMTP settings
If you use a Gmail account or an email managed by your IT/Hardware providers, you will most likely need to configure you settings using the following method.
To set up your SMTP Settings:
- Go to Z Office > Settings > Store Settings > Communication
- Under the Email Settings, ensure that the provider is set to Other:
You will need to fill out the settings above for the store email/email you wish to use.If you're not sure what the settings are, it is probably best to check with your IT/Email provider for the settings.For Gmail users, you will need to generate an app password and use this instead of your regular password. - Press Save
Setting up your Microsoft Email using Oauth2 Authentication
If you use a Microsoft account (e.g. Outlook account) to access your email, please refer to the following section to set up your email.
To set up your Microsoft hosted email:
- Go to Z Office > Settings > Store Settings > Communication
- Under the Email Settings, ensure that the provider is set to Microsoft:
- Click on Sign in:
- Follow the prompt to log in to your Microsoft account:
- Press Save
