Adding Emoji's and Non-English Characters to SMS's

This feature is only available for stores who have signed up for an SMS virtual number and have SMS receiving enabled.

The SMS tool allows you to send messages containing emoji's and non-English characters.

Open the SMS tool using the "SMS" button along the top ribbon.
Select the "Add" button at the bottom left to create a new message.
A new window will appear where you can start typing in your message (including non-English characters).
You can also click the Emoji icon to insert different emoji's into the message.
In the bottom right hand corner you will see counters to help you keep track of the number of characters and SMS messages being sent to the customer.
Emojis and non-English characters use 2 characters for each character. When adding an emoji or non-English character, this also changes the SMS type as non-standard message and reduces the number of characters for each SMS (i.e. 1 SMS containing an emoji or non-English character = 70 character limit).

Some emojis may not be supported by Windows and will appear with as a 🥲. This is unfortunately a limitation of Windows.
Once you are finished, click "Send Now" to send or "Save" to schedule the message.
