What’s New in this Update?
EFTPOS Connection Update
This change applies only to stores using PC-EFTPOS/Linkly and Z Pay. Stores on Tyro or Scrypt Pay are not affected.
We've upgraded the way EFTPOS communicates with PC-EFTPOS/Linkly and Z Pay, moving to a more modern and reliable connection method. This change was required to keep the integration supported and working reliably going forward.
EFTPOS Settlement Changes (PC-EFTPOS/Linkly Only)
We have worked closely with PC-EFTPOS/Linkly to revert previous changes to EFTPOS settlement process directly within Z Register back to the Linkly Control Panel:
EFTPOS Printing Options
Depending on your EFTPOS terminal and Z Register configuration, the Customer Copy of your EFTPOS receipt may also start printing from Z Register.
If you wish to change this setting, you can go Z Register > Settings > General > Integrated EFTPOS.
Under the Customer Copy option, these control the printing options from Z Register:
- Always Print: This will always print the customer copy of the receipt
- Never Print: This won’t print the customer copy of the receipt from
- Ask Every Time: This will prompt to confirm if you wish to print a copy of the receipt
If you have changed the EFTPOS print settings but the customer copy continues to print as before, you may need to contact the bank or your EFTPOS provider as their settings will always override Z settings.
Other Changes in this Update
- Updated our installer file. Our program may have looked different when updating but there should be no changes that you will need to do:
