The PBS co-payment discount can be applied at various levels and the different levels have different priorities. The hierarchy is:

1. Drug Level
2. Patient Level
3. Facility Level
4. Store Level

This means a PBS co-payment discount set on a specific drug will override the discount set for a specific patient, facility or general store.

Store Level

1. Go to Z Dispense > Store > Store Configuration > PBS Pricing
2. The PBS co-payment pricing is highlighted below:
   
   
   
   RP - Ready Prepared
   EP - Extemporaneously Prepared
   EP + Water - Extemporaneously Prepared + Water
   
   You have the ability to enable the PBS co-payment discount to apply to either or both general and concession scripts.
3. Press Save

Default Discount Filter

There are additional discount filters that can be applied. To access the filters:

1. Go to Z Dispense > Store > Store Configuration > PBS Pricing > Default Discount Filter
   
   
   
   
2. The Default Discount Filters window should appear:
   
   
   
   You have the ability to include or exclude particular: brands, suburbs, clubs, postcodes and brand price premium items.

Patient Level

1. Select a patient and update their details
2. Go to the Other tab
   
   
   
   
3. Fill the PBS Discount (Default) amount to the desired value
   
   
   
   
4. Save the patient to update the patient

Facility Level

1. Go to Z Dispense > Tools > Facilities
2. Search and select the facility that you wish to apply the PBS co-payment discount to
3. Go to the 'Other' tab:
   
   
   
   
4. Fill the PBS Discount (Default) amount to the desired value
   
   
   
   
5. Press Save

Drug Level

1. Go to Z Dispense > Drugs
2. The Drug Selection window should appear. Search and select the drug to update
3. Go to the Pricing Details Tab:
   
   
   
   
4. Fill the PBS Discount amount to the desired value
5. Press Save
