In systems settings, we have the default of Stock X Auto Orders.
When we dispense an item that is set to Auto Reorder NO in its stockcard, it appears that the system automatically re-set the Auto Reorder function to X in the stockcard.
Is this happening because of the default setting X Auto Orders?
What happens if we change this default setting?
We are getting a build up of stock of items we only Special Order, I believe because of this default function. Great to remind us to order the first time, but an issue ongoing.

Hi Phil,
The default Auto Orders setting is for newly created stock. That means if you have the setting on and you or our monthly updates create new stock, it will be set to Auto Order.
If the option is turning back on automatically you may need to turn off the 'Mark stock for ordering when item is dispensed' option in Z Office > Settings > Store Settings > General > Dispense Settings.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
What happens to the re-ordering of regular items, if we turn off the 'Mark stock for ordering when item is dispensed' option"?
We have a Dept Dispensary and Sub-Dept Special Order Only, which are items that we do not keep in stock but only order when we have a special request. Therefore Stock Status is Äctive" and "Stock Opts is "Auto order stock off".
What is the options settings to achieve this result. With both options selected, we are getting a build up of items that we do not want to hold in stock?
Hi Phil,
You may need to add these special items to the orders manually in this case.
