What’s New in this Update?

OAuth2 (Modern Authentication) Support for Microsoft Accounts

Microsoft have updated their authentication process which prevented Z Software users using Microsoft account from sending emails.

This update now contains support for OAuth2 (Modern Authentication) for Microsoft so you can now send emails using your Microsoft account.

To set up a Microsoft email:

1. Go to Office > Settings > Store Settings > Communication
2. In the Select Provider dropdown, select “Microsoft”:
   
3. Press Sign In to set up your account:
   
4. A browser window should appear. Follow the prompts and process to sign into your Microsoft account
   
5. After you have logged into Microsoft, you should receive a prompt to confirm you have successfully signed in:
   
   
   You may also receive an email from Microsoft to confirm that you have linked your Microsoft account with Z Software.
6. The username will now be filled with your logged in email. If you ever need to change Microsoft Email addresses set, you can also sign out of your account.
   
7. Press Save

Added Stocktake Variance Report

We have added a Stocktake Variance Report to make it easier for you to be able to compare the variance in cost (excluding GST) and SOH after doing a stocktake. This will help you pinpoint any major fluctuations in stock quantity or cost.

To run the report:

1. Go to Z Office > Reports > Manage Reports > Stocktake Variance Report:
   
2. Enter the Start Date and End Date you wish to run the report for. The Start Date and End Date will take into consideration when the stocktake was created:
   
3. Press Generate to run the report
4. The report should generate with the following columns:
   
   Stocktake No: This is the stocktake number that the stock was stocktaken against
   Date Counted: This is the date when the stock card was counted
   Stock Name: The stock name of the stock card
   Stock PDE: The default PDE of the stock card
   Cost Ex ($): The Cost Excluding GST of the stock card. This is the current cost of the stock card
   Variance ($): The variance in cost due to the variance in stock (Cost excluding GST x Stock on Hand Variance)
   Counted SOH: The entered SOH when performing the stocktake
   Expected SOH: The SOH before performing the stocktake
   Variance: The difference between the Counted SOH and Expected SOH

Added Script Reports in Z Office

We have now added the ability to create Script Reports in Z Office, giving you more flexibility in creating custom reports and being able to schedule more script reports.

To create a report:

1. Go to Z Office > Reports > Create New
2. In the Report Type dropdown, select ‘Script Report’:
   
3. From here, you can add the available columns to create the desired report:
   
4. Press Save to save the report for future use, or Generate to run the report

Ability to add Notes to Till Takings

We have added the ability to add notes to till takings, giving you the option to write any notes on discrepancies against the till period.

Other Changes in this Update

• Added the option for Scrypt Pay users to select different terminals per workstation

What’s Fixed in this Update?

• Fixed an application error occurring when pressing ‘Select as Main’ with no stock selection

• Fixed the Stock Merge Tool not displaying all stock details
